EQUESTRIAN QUALIFICATIONS
We are pleased to be able to offer everyone in Shetland the opportunity to gain equestrian qualifications through the Shetland Equestrian Centre.
UKCC Level One Training and Assessment - Lea Allan plans to run another Level One course in October and later, a local assessment to save candidates the cost of having to travel to Aberdeen. These courses are subsidised and run by the Scottish Equestrian Association and details can be found on their web site.

HNC - It is now possible to do an HNC in Equine Studies through the North Highland College by Distance Learning. This course can work out free if you open an Independent Learning Account and any practical assessment required will be done at the Centre in Stromfirth. We are also happy to run practice sessions for students. North Highland College are holding an open evening and enrolment session on Saturday 11th September at the Stables, Stromfirth. BHS Stage Exams - The Centre in now in a position to offer training towards BHS Stages leading to BHSAI.

Our first Own a Pony Day was a great sucess and we are planning the next one soon.
Please phone if you want a place - £25 for the whole day, includes two rides, activities, stable management lessons and a certificate. Bring a packed lunch and leave the rest to us!!
