Higher National Certificate in Equine Studies.

This is a Distance Learning Course delivered through the North Highland College.  Most of the course work is paper-based, sending assessments to your tutor for checking and forwarding to the college for accreditation.  There are 12 units and normally students do 3-4 each  year.

For the few units where there is a practical element, candidates complete them through the Equestrian Centre.

The course is already subsidised by the NH College, and can even be free if you set up an Individual learning Account.

An Enrolment session will be held each September with Allison Fellows, College Tutor for anyone interested in doing this course.

 British Horse Society Stage Exams

We have several training options available for anyone wishing to take their stage exams leading to BHSAI.

We can provide tuition, part time or full time working pupil positions to suitable candiates.

Anyone doing a working pupil course will be encouraged to take the UKCC Level One course to enable them to help with teaching.

Part time is by arrangement and places are limited.

Contact us to discuss the best option for you.

Loads of information on the stage exams, BHSAI and teaching Certificates can be found on the BHS web site.  Click HERE for more information.
